Is your Ponytail Causing Headaches?

Whoa, nelly. My hairdresser claims that wearing a ponytail the wrong way can put pressure on your head and cause headaches.

Putting it on top of your head like Pebbles Flintstone exerts pressure on sensitive spots. But if you tie it low at the base of your neck, you’ll be pulling in the best direction. Or so she says.

“I haven’t read any articles in the literature on ponytails, but placing it low would seem more natural,” says physiotherapist Shelley Alper.

If that doesn’t help, then maybe you should just let your hair down, says Web MD.
What do you say?
