Grapefruit: The Forbidden Fruit?

holistic grapefruit tipGrapefruit and its juice are continuing to gain a bitter reputation. Can it increase your risk for estrogenic cancer? Maybe.  Can it interfere with certain drugs you’re taking?  For sure.

Grapefruit and its juice can interact with the body’s important CYP3A4 pathway –an enzyme system responsible for metabolizing medications.
